The Donut Kitchen is a locally- and family-owned bakery that has been serving the Charlottesville, VA, community since 2023. Our specialty lies in our handmade donuts, which are made with love and care. In addition to our classic old fashioned donuts, we also offer a variety of flavors such as strawberry and chocolate iced, blueberry, and cinnamon sugar. Can’t judge the service or the atmosphere because I didn’t get my hand pie from the actual store. I actually got my hand pie from Yoders in Madison Va. yesterday. It was not until today when I ate my hand pie, was looking at the rapper and discovered my hand pie was not actually made at Yoders, but was made by The Donut Kitchen. It is a very good hand pie. It is actually an excellent hand pie. I have no complaints about it. Please don’t ever change it. Are you guys by chance Amish or Mennonite or former? It doesn’t matter because your hand pie is amazing. I’m just curious. Now that I know you have a standalone bakery when I am back in Charlottesville I’ll be sure to come check you out.
